Seaside Heights May Ticket Swimmers During Unguarded or Dangerous Conditions

This is specific to when no lifeguard is on duty, or when there are red flag conditions prohibiting swimming. Vaz said he worked with the borough council and police department to make the decision following numerous rescues in Seaside Heights and Seaside Park this month and due to the high rip current risks. The rough water is expected to run through the weekend as Hurricane Lee churns off the coast.
